Waterwatch DataWaterwatch data is being collected from waterways and coastal areas throughout Australia. If you have Microsoft Access 2000 and above installed on your computer you can download the Waterwatch Database Program from this web site. If you do not have Microsoft Access 2000 installed on your computer you will need to get a copy of the Waterwatch Database CD. The CD is available from the Waterwatch Database Helpdesk: Email: waterwatch.helpdesk@gvwater.vic.gov.au System Requirements for the Waterwatch Database Program:Operating System Requirements Please note: There are a multitude of different configurations of computers today that run some very complex software environments. Differing Microsoft Operating Systems (Win 98, Windows XP etc) behave very differently. Occasionally, there may be a problem installing the Database software depending on your specific computer software and operating environment. Please contact the Help Desk if this occurs. Any modern computer bought in the last 2-3 years should run the software. The following are guides. The database software will however not run on Apple Macintosh. Preferred Computer SpecificationsPentium 3 or Celeron @ 433Mhz or AMD equivalent Excellent PerformanceAny Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon or Duron Processors Download the Waterwatch DatabaseImportant: save all three parts in one location or folder and do not rename any of the files. Once you have saved all files, follow the installation requirements.
